About the Role
West-Star Motors in Toowoomba are looking for a qualified Automotive Technician to join our professional service department. This full-time, hands-on, workshop-based role involves servicing, diagnostics and mechanical repairs across Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Joining a collaborative team of technicians and apprentices, this opportunity is ideal for a technician who wants steady, secure work in a premium, growth-driven dealership environment.

What you will be doing:
* Complete scheduled servicing, mechanical repairs and diagnostics
* Carry out vehicle inspections, roadworthy and warranty work
* Use dealership diagnostic equipment to identify and fix faults
* Accurately record all work completed and parts used
* Work closely with the service and parts teams to keep jobs moving
* Support technicians and apprentices in a collaborative workshop environment

Skills & Experience:
* Trade qualified (Cert III Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent)
* Dealership or manufacturer training is highly regarded
* Confident with diagnostics and fault finding
* Willingness to learn and develop with manufacturer programs
* Strong attention to detail with a safety-first mindset
* Current driver's licence
* Australian working rights
