Role Description
Sub Contractor Roles $95- $110 per hour
This is a contract on-site role for DIDO Mechanical Fitters based in and around the Moranbah/Bowen Basin area, QLD. Multiple roles available for both Drill Fitters and Truck/MPU Fitters.The Mechanical Fitters will be tasked with, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment. Responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, ensuring operational efficiency of machinery, diagnosing and fixing equipment faults, and collaborating with the team to maintain workplace safety and compliance standards.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Mechanical Fitting, Blast Hole Drills or MPU's
* Expertise in conducting Preventive Maintenance and general Maintenance work
* Experience and skills in Machining processes
* Problem-solving ability and attention to detail
* Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
* Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter, Heavy Commercial Vehicle or equivalent
* Previous experience in the automotive, mining, or related industries is advantageous
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
