Administering Anaesthetics is a complex and high-pressure role that requires a specialist doctor with expertise in administering anaesthetics to patients. Responsibilities include performing procedures such as intubation and ventilation, monitoring patient vital signs, and providing emergency care during surgeries.
A successful candidate will have completed a medical degree, obtained Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Anaesthetists (FRACAnaes), and hold registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). They will also possess a strong understanding of medications, equipment, and surgical protocols. Prior experience working in an operating theatre environment is highly valued.
