Healthcare Support Professional
This support professional will work under the direction of physiotherapists/occupational therapists to deliver high-quality clinical services to clients in Residential Aged Care settings.
The role involves a mix of clinical and administrative duties, including assisting with physiotherapy services, servicing RAC clients, transporting residents, setting up and packing away equipment, and collecting referrals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with delivering physiotherapy services according to standard procedures and policies.
* Service RAC clients according to Allied Health Professionals treatment plans.
* Transport residents to and from therapy sessions or appointments.
* Set up and pack away physiotherapy equipment.
* Collect referrals and other administrative tasks as guided by physiotherapists.
* Order prescribed equipment.
* Support initiatives to meet client expectations.
* Consult with physiotherapists/occupational therapists on adaptations/changes/progressions of treatment plans.
* Participate in mentoring, supervision, and appraisals according to healthcare policy and procedure.
