This Australian retail brand is going through significant growth and seeking a strong Bookkeeper/Finance Officer for a 6 month contract with high possibility of moving permanent. This role is pivotal within the finance team and is responsible for the Accounts Receivable, Payable and Payroll Functions.
Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining payroll, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Entering of new starters, processing of terminations and redundancies
- Manage accounts payable and receivable including invoices, receipts, payments, cash allocations and billings.
- Balanced monthly general ledger accounts to accurately record cost and month end accruals
- Assist with Payroll when required.
- Compliance with the ATO relating to BAS, GST, FBT and PAYG
To be successful in this role, you will be highly experienced within Accounts Payable, Receivable and Payroll. It is a close knit team so you will be committed, reliable and be a real team player. You will be happy to be hands on and help with the day to day running of all of these functions.
