About the position
Due to continuous growth in our business, a new opportunity has become available to join our team in the Surat Region.
We are actively seeking an experienced
Site Supervisor
to lead our close-knit team across our
Commodore & Cameby Downs
mine sites.
In this role, you will manage our day-to-day blasting operations, working a 7/7 day shift only roster. From time-to-time, you will also be required to support the crew in both shotfiring and MPU operations.
Reporting to the Area Operations Manager, you will supervise the daily operations and activities of the team, including workforce scheduling, cost control, coaching and mentoring crews. You will ensure a safe and healthy environment for all employees and contractors while maintaining compliance with Enaex policies and procedures to ensure agreed customer targets are met.
About you
* Unwavering commitment to safety and efficiency in leading a positive safety culture
* Demonstrated management or supervisory experience
* Demonstrated experience shotfiring and operating MPUs in an open cut environment
* Strong interpersonal, organisational, and time management skills
* Sound knowledge of dangerous goods and explosives legislation
* High attention to detail with a commitment to quality, timeliness and accuracy
* Quick and efficient problem-solving skills
What you need
* Supervisor training (S1, S2 & S3) essential
* G2 Implementation of Risk Management
* Computer literacy
* Current HR licence
* National Police Clearance (Less than 3 months old or willing to obtain)
* QLD Security Clearance for handling explosives (or willing to obtain)
* Current QLD Coal Board Medical (or willing to obtain)
* Standard 11 (or willing to obtain)
* QLD Shotfiring Licence
* MPU RIIs highly regarded
