About the Role
As a Network Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in the design, implementation, and optimisation of network infrastructure for a diverse portfolio of clients. You'll ensure environments remain secure, resilient, and high-performing, enabling seamless connectivity and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and support network infrastructure across LAN/WAN, wireless, SD-WAN, VPN, and firewall environments.
Lead complex network projects and upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum uptime.
Configure and manage routing, switching, and firewall policies (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Aruba, or similar).
Collaborate with Cloud, Systems, and Security teams to deliver integrated solutions.
Troubleshoot complex network incidents and drive root cause analysis and service improvements.
Document network architectures, configurations, and change processes in line with ITIL standards.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team capability development.
Support pre-sales and solution design with technical expertise and clear communication.
About You
You're a hands-on, solutions-driven network professional who enjoys working across complex and evolving environments. You bring a balance of technical capability, professionalism, and curiosity to every engagement.
You'll need
5–7+ years' experience in network engineering within an MSP or enterprise environment.
Proven experience with routing and switching technologies (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Aruba, or equivalent).
Hands-on experience in SD-WAN design, VPN management, and secure remote access.
Strong understanding of network security, segmentation, and policy management.
Excellent documentation, stakeholder, and time management skills.
Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet Certified Professional, or equivalent.
A proactive approach and the ability to work independently or collaboratively in hybrid environments.
You're an Australian Citizen and able to obtain a Baseline Security Clearance
