Customer Service Officer / Lifeguard
Multiple casual positions available -$40.32 per hour (includes 25% Casual Loading) plus 11% Superannuation
Multiple Permanent Part Time positions available – 12 hours per week -$32.26 per hour plus 11% Superannuation
Location: Latrobe Leisure Facilities Moe/Newborough, Morwell and Churchill and Outdoor Pools in Moe and Yallourn North

The Role
We are seeking people to join our Latrobe Leisure teams as Customer Service Officers / Lifeguards to provide safe and enjoyable facilities.
Our leisure facilities provide a key area for physical health and fitness, and also a space for community members to come together in a social capacity. Utilising your excellent customer service skills and water safety qualifications, you will contribute to the overall health & well-being of our customers by:
* Supervise the public using the facilities
* Maintaining vigilant observation of all activities in the pool area and enforce centre behaviours and safety rules as required
* Be familiar with emergency First Aid and evacuation procedures and take action as required
* Handling of both telephone and counter enquires
* Input of data into the computer to update attendance, membership record and record bookings in programs.
* Keeping the facilities clean and tidy at all times
Shifts over this period will be across a variety of days and hours.
About you
We are currently seeking Customer Service Officers / Lifeguards with a commitment to providing excellent customer service and to effectively communicate with to our customers. You will have a demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, with experience in cash handling, computer system experience and have a high attention to detail.
You will need or be willing to obtain:
* Level 2 First Aid Certificate
* Current pool lifeguard qualification
Successful applicants are required to apply for and satisfactorily obtain a National Police Check and Working with Children's Check.
