About the role
The Assistant Director of Nursing Preventative Health provides high level strategic and operational leadership to the nursing teams across the Preventative Health Services.
The Assistant Director of Nursing will ensure the delivery of high quality, contemporary, effective, and responsive Preventative Health Services for West Moreton Health.
About you
- Demonstrated high level knowledge of contemporary nursing practice and capacity in leadership skills and management practices to engage and motivate stakeholders to achieve quality patient/consumer outcomes and productivity targets.
- Demonstrated commitment to outcome-driven performance and organisational achievement.
- Demonstrated proficiency to work effectively within a leadership team to meet the demands of complex healthcare environments.
- Demonstrated high-level interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills, ability to consult, negotiate, and liaise effectively with (internal and external) key stakeholders, patients/consumers, their families and/or carers.
- Demonstrated advanced level knowledge and understanding of the key concepts of national and state health legislation, policies, frameworks and standards.
**Mandatory Requirements**:
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
- Vaccinated against COVID-19 as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO.12/21and the Queensland Health Human Resources Policy B70.
