About this role:
We are seeking skilled and compassionate individuals to work as Home Care Support Specialists in the Port Macquarie, Taree, and Wauchope areas.
As a Home Care Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing personal care, domestic assistance, transport, and meal preparation services to our clients. You will also provide social support and companionship, helping to maintain their independence and dignity.
Key responsibilities:
* Personal care: Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
* Domestic assistance: Help with laundry, cleaning, and light household chores
* Transport and shopping: Provide transportation to appointments and assist with grocery shopping
* Meal preparation: Prepare healthy meals and snacks for clients
* Social support and companionship: Engage in conversation, play games, and participate in activities with clients
Requirements:
* Relevant qualifications or experience in aged care or healthcare
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and evenings
