Onsite Boundary Fence Installer – Residential Construction
Location: Tasmania (Hobart & surrounding areas)

About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Onsite Boundary Fence Installer to join our growing residential construction team. This role involves installing timber and metal clad boundary fencing for newly constructed homes with residential builders, as well as existing residential properties.
You will be working across active construction sites and established homes, delivering high-quality fencing solutions that meet builder standards, safety requirements, and project timeframes.
Key Responsibilities
* Install timber fencing (treated pine paling, boundary and side fencing)
* Install metal clad fencing and screening systems
* Accurately set out fencing in accordance with site plans and boundaries
* Measure, prepare, and install fencing to a high standard
* Work safely on live construction sites in line with WHS requirements
* Liaise professionally with builders, site supervisors, and homeowners
* Maintain clean, safe, and organised worksites
* Identify access or site issues early and communicate effectively
About You
* Proven experience installing timber and/or metal clad fencing
* Background in fencing, carpentry, or general construction
* Strong understanding of residential construction sites and processes
* Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
* High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
* Physically fit and capable of manual labour
* Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
* Professional communication and presentation
Essential Requirements
* Experience in fencing or construction
* White Card (Construction Induction)
* Current driver’s licence
* Ability to work on active building sites
Desirable (Not Essential)
* Experience working with residential builders
* Knowledge of boundary regulations and site set-out practices
* Experience installing gates and basic landscaping elements
