Financial Asset Manager
We are seeking an experienced Financial Asset Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating asset accounting and supporting the service to achieve corporate goals.
About the Role:
* This role is part of the Financial Accounting team, reporting to the Manager Financial Accounting.
* The Financial Asset Manager will support the Service to achieve corporate goals by providing timely and quality information, expert financial compliance and accounting advice.
* The role will play a significant part in the development and delivery of strategic asset management plans, short- and long-term capital budget planning, comprehensive evaluations, and the coordination of monthly and annual asset processes and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate asset accounting for Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service.
* Support the Service to achieve corporate goals by providing timely and quality information, expert financial compliance and accounting advice.
* Develop and deliver strategic asset management plans, short- and long-term capital budget planning, comprehensive evaluations, and the coordination of monthly and annual asset processes and reporting.
Requirements:
* A degree in accounting or equivalent is highly desirable for this role.
* A Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) / Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is highly desirable.
What We Offer:
* Total remuneration value of up to $148,323 p.a.
* An hourly rate between $61.20 - $65.56 p.h.
