We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Family Support Worker to join our team.

In this role, you will provide vital support to young people aged 0-18 years, helping them navigate challenges and access essential services. Your work will make a real difference in the lives of children and their caregivers.

Your role as a Family Support Worker

As a Family Support Worker, you will provide short term support to young people aged 0-18 years and their families, helping them navigate challenges and access essential services. Your work will make a real difference in their lives and the broader community.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

- Provide practical and emotional support to young people and families in need.

- Work collaboratively with children, parents, and caregivers to promote well-being.

- Connect families with appropriate services and community resources.

- Develop and implement tailored support plans.

- Maintain accurate records and report on client progress.

What you’ll bring

- Relevant Experience: Experience in case management, program delivery, development and evaluation.

- Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Teamwork & Adaptability: Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing needs.

- Compassionate Approach: A compassionate and client-centred approach.

- Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in welfare or related fields or extensive experience working with families with complex needs.

- Requirements: A valid driver’s licence and relevant clearances (or willingness to obtain).
