The role of a Senior Human Resources Consultant involves providing expert advice and support to regional management on a range of contemporary HR issues, activities, and processes.
Key responsibilities include delivering high-quality HR consultancy services by providing expert advice on performance management, recruitment and selection, establishment management, employee relations, employment conditions, payroll, staff absence management, equal employment opportunity, and anti-discrimination practices.
Other key responsibilities include developing and implementing best practice HR management systems and processes in accordance with strategic priorities and business objectives, ensuring an appropriately resourced and skilled workforce through workforce data analysis in consultation with key stakeholders, reviewing monthly HR reports to identify trends and provide options and solutions for HR matters including workforce planning and absence management.
* Coordinate regional recruitment and selection processes in consultation with internal and external stakeholders and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
* Assist the Head Office HR Branch with coordination activities regarding centralised recruitment campaigns.
* Maintain a thorough knowledge of current HR legislation, policies, and procedures and provide accurate and timely advice on employee relations matters.
