About the role:
The Marketing and Communication Intern assists with internal and external marketing and communications content through various mediums, whilst building their skills in the Marketing and Communications area.
To be considered for this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following key selection criteria:
* Minimum of a Diploma in a communications related discipline – including Communications, Design, Print Production or new media or studying towards same; this could include overseas qualifications without Australian accreditation
* Well-developed verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present information in a logical manner for a diverse audience
* Tertiary level understanding of the application of key marketing principles such as social media and traditional marketing, EDM, SEO and brand voice
* Active knowledge of a range of current social media and communication platforms
* Ability to liaise with key stakeholders to understand their requirements
* Strong computer skills including common graphic design, video editing and web publishing packages, MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel and MS Powerpoint
* Attention to detail
* Strong team player with the ability to work independently
* Positive attitude toward work and the ability to provide a high level of customer service for the Unit
