About the role
We are seeking a Guest Service Agent to join our team at Crowne Plaza Sydney Burwood. This part-time role will be based at our hotel in Burwood, NSW 2134 and will involve providing exceptional customer service to our guests.
What you'll be doing
* Greeting and checking in guests upon arrival
* Handling guest enquiries and requests in a friendly and professional manner
* Assisting with luggage, room assignments, and key distribution
* Resolving any guest issues or complaints in a timely and effective way
* Maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organisation in the lobby and front desk area
* Providing information about the hotel's facilities and local attractions
* Handling cash and credit card transactions accurately
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a customer service or guest-facing role, preferably in the hospitality industry
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
* Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
* Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
* Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work shifts including weekends and public holidays
* Knowledge of the local area and attractions would be an advantage
