Your responsibilities will include:Lead category strategy development, spend analysis, market research and implementation of comprehensive category plansAnalyse supplier agreements, negotiate optimal commercial outcomes, and ensure value deliveryPrepare and maintain contract specifications and business requirementsDevelop and implement contract management protocols with stakeholdersOversee the full purchase-to-pay (P2P) process, ensuring policy compliance and reporting on savings and benefitsImplement NRMA's Modern Slavery, RAP, and ESG strategies in supplier engagementsLead stakeholder engagement to ensure procurement strategies align with business needsContinuously seek opportunities for improvement, simplification, and standardisation across supplier engagementsMentor and lead junior team members, supporting their developmentWhat You'll BringAt least 10 years' procurement experience in a service-based organisation, with primary accountability for tendering, contract management, and end-to-end procurementDemonstrated category management expertise in both service and commodity categories, ideally with experience in travel, hospitality, or construction procurementProven leadership skills, with the ability to coach, develop, and manage both self and team performanceAdvanced strategic, commercial, negotiation, and relationship-building skillsHigh-level analytical and numerical ability, with experience in multi-million-dollar categoriesExcellent Microsoft Office skills and proficiency in ERP and contract management systemsChange management, presentation, facilitation, and financial accounting skillsWhat\u2019s in it for you?
