Hewitt is a global, vertically integrated food business supplying organic and high-claims red meat to customers across Australia, North America and Asian markets. As we continue to realise our global ambition to scale and grow internationally through acquisitions and organic growth, we are seeking an experienced Head of Treasury. This exciting and career defining role will help develop global Treasury strategy, operations, policy and systems to enable management of a truly global operation.
The Role
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Head of Treasury owns global treasury strategy and operations, including liquidity, cash, debt, investment, and financial risk management. This role is a critical strategic partner to the CFO, ensuring the organisation has the funding, visibility, and controls required to support growth, acquisitions, and day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Own global cash visibility, liquidity, and working capital management
* Lead debt strategy, funding, refinancing, and covenant management
* Manage FX, interest rate, and commodity risk exposures and hedging
* Oversee treasury operations, policies, controls, and bank relationships
* Deliver accurate cash forecasting, scenario modelling, and stress testing
* Support M&A activity through funding assessment and integration support
About You
* 10+ years' experience in senior treasury roles within multinational or fast-growth environments
* Strong expertise across liquidity management, funding, and financial risk management
* Proven experience managing banking and lender relationships
* Strong technical capability in cash forecasting, hedging, and treasury systems
* Experience supporting M&A transactions and integrations
* Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline; ACT / CTP preferred
