Disability Support Professional
We are seeking a skilled Disability Support Worker to join our team in Devonport and North West Tasmania.
This role involves delivering high-quality support to individuals with disabilities, enabling them to maintain their independence and overall well-being.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, empathy, and a passion for providing exceptional care.
Main Responsibilities:
* Provide personalized support to participants with varying needs and goals
* Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care and household management
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with participants, families, and other stakeholders
* Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Certificate III or IV in Disability or Individual Support
* At least 6 months of full-time experience within the disability sector
* Current National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain
* Full working rights in Australia
* Previous experience with Brain Trauma and/or High Complex Care (desired)
* Manual Handling Certificate valid within the last 12 months
* Working With Children Check or willingness to obtain
* NDIS Worker Clearance or willingness to obtain
