**Your new role**
Work in Invertebrate and Weed Sciences group, which delivers research in integrated pest management, invertebrate diagnostics, and surveillance, weed management and biological control of invertebrate pests and weeds. You'll:
- Provide and coordinate technical support for laboratory and field work associated with the conservation biological control projects at the AgriBio Centre
- Specific tasks include sampling invertebrate populations, processing and identifying samples, and transcribing data
- Assist with other projects within the Invertebrate and Weed Sciences group
**What you'll need to succeed**
You'll have:
- Degree in biology, chemistry, entomology, ecology, botany, agricultural science, or related discipline
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: biosecurity research or operations, entomology, botany, undertaking biossays, maintaining insect cultures, biological control, insect diagnostics, IPM in orchards, weed management, field experiments, sorting and counting insects
