Due to embarking in new machine technology for fabrication projects, they are looking to appoint a Senior Payroll Officer to join their professional team.
This position is being offered on a full-time, permanent basis with an immediate start available.
Key Responsibilities:
Monthly Payroll Tax Reporting
Quarterly Superannuation lodgements
Quarterly Construction Long Service Leave lodgement
Assisting as needed in manual processing of all timesheets on a weekly basis, requiring timesheets to be interpreted and entered as per Enterprise Agreement (EA)
Reporting to the Financial Controller
Offering support to the Payroll Team as needed
To be successful in this role:
Previous Payroll Experience
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office
Highly organised manner with excellent time management, attention to detail
High level of initiative
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to be dynamic, flexible, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and sustain relationships.
A strong interest and passion in a growth industry.
A willingness to work collaboratively within a team and across other departments.
