As a valuable member of our team, you will play a crucial role in connecting all Queenslanders to quality training and employment opportunities. Your primary responsibility will be to provide foundational administrative support in our Department of Trade, Employment and Training regional offices. Additionally, this opportunity includes completing a Certificate III in Business Administration.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide general administrative assistance, including data entry, record-keeping, and document preparation while maintaining confidentiality.
* Deliver excellent customer service to both internal and external clients by being courteous, efficient, and prompt in your interactions.
* Assist team members by contributing to shared tasks and meeting deadlines to ensure seamless project execution.
* Complete duties according to established guidelines and procedures, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
* Assist with procurement, stock management, and stationery supplies to ensure a well-equipped workspace.
* Participate actively as a team member by collaborating and contributing to a positive workplace culture.


Requirements and Qualifications:

* Demonstrate willingness to learn and adapt quickly to new procedures and technologies.
* Build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and customers through effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
* Basic computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite or the ability to develop these skills quickly.
* Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration and conflict resolution.
* Apply sound time management skills to ensure regular attendance and timely task completion.
* Commit to pursuing a Certificate III in Business Administration, recognizing the dedication required for successful completion.
