Customer Service Officer | Community Bank Kincumber | NSW
This is a permanent, full-time position in Kincumber. You will be the face of the branch, delivering customer service, handling transactions, assisting with digital channels, and guiding customers to suitable banking solutions while keeping risk considerations in mind.
Responsibilities
- Explore customers’ needs through conversations to help them achieve their financial goals and collaborate with specialists within the branch
- Support customers with digital literacy and online banking as the bank continues to innovate
- Process transactions, handle cash, investigate queries, and assist with paperwork while maintaining risk controls
- Engage in on-the-job training and external development opportunities to support growth opportunities
- Build connections by supporting customers and engaging with the community while maintaining a positive and collaborative team environment
What you’ll bring to the role
To succeed, you should consistently deliver exceptional customer service. We’d love you to have:
- Experience in a customer service environment with the ability to achieve targets
- Strong attention to detail to ensure secure, accurate transactions with a risk mindset
- Confidence to communicate with new and existing customers face to face and over the phone
- Understanding of what makes our bank different
- Collaborative mindset and willingness to work as part of a team
- Experience in the banking and finance industry is a plus but not essential
