The Company
* Residential home builder that's been in business for over 10 years.
* Work with architects and clients to deliver new build / knock down rebuild, renovation and extension projects up to $2m in value.
* Projects are based in the Inner West, Eastern Suburbs, North Shore and Hills District areas.
About The Role
* Qualified Carpenter to undertake a Leading Hand role on residential projects.
* Project sites will be in the Inner West and Eastern Suburbs such as Glebe, Marrickville, Bellevue Hill and Bondi.
* Will report into the Site Manager and Project Manager.
* Salary between $90,000 and $110,000 plus super.
Duties
* Assist with site management and supervision of trades
* Management of carpenters and apprentices.
* Reading and interpreting architectural plans
* Liaising with the client and project stakeholders as required
* Ensure site WHS is adhered to
Skills & Experience
* Trade qualified carpentry background - Certificate III in Carpentry.
* Experience of working on residential projects from start to finish - new builds, renovations, extensions.
* Able to work in a team and collaborative environment.
* Keen to progress career further to Foreman / Site Manager level.
