About the Role

Reporting to the Manager - Strategic Planning, Transport & Environment the core responsibilities include:

* High quality administrative and organisational support that enable the unit to operate efficiently, ensures accuracy of documentation, and enables the manager to focus on strategic priorities.
* Managing priorities effectively, work independently with accuracy and efficiency, and continuously improve processes to enhance productivity and service delivery.
* Developing trusted, collaborative relationships across the organisation and with stakeholders, ensuring communication is clear, timely, and customer-focused.

About You

* Demonstrated experience providing high-quality administrative support, with strong skills in Microsoft Office and information management systems.
* Qualifications in administration, business management, or a related field, and experience working in a local government environment (desirable).
* Highly organised and adaptable, with the ability to plan, prioritise, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deliver a high level of customer service to a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders across multiple channels.
* Ability to work with data and numerical information to produce reports, support financial processes, and provide accurate analysis.
