J G King Homes, Victoria's largest builder of Steel Frame homes, is seeking an energetic & highly motivated individual to join our Wodonga team. The role will cover Benalla, Wangaratta & Mansfield.
With the unprecedented growth in the area, we are looking to expand the JG King family.
The Building Supervisor will report to the Construction Manager. This hands on, Full-Time position will operate all aspects of Building & Construction.
Duties Include
* Supervising all construction related activities;
* Manage schedule & coordinate the construction of homes from pre site inspection through to signed ICC completion & handover.
* Check that all works are in accordance with the working drawings;
* Ensure the proper completion of maintenance in conjunction with Office Administrators;
* Ensure a safe working environment on all site following OHS & E practices;
* Ensure all contractors & suppliers confirm to the company's requirements with respect to insurance and other statutory requirements;
* Effectively ensure the client company relationship is maintained at all times;
* Following strict process and procedures;
Skills
* Display high level of professionalism, maturity & customer service;
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
* Microsoft Office Suite skills including usage of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook;
* A sound knowledge of the volume home building industry in Victoria;
* High level of time management & organisational skills;
* Ability to multi-task & proactive approach to all tasks provided;
* The completion of trade qualification (preferred) and;
* A current driver's license & ability to undertake travel as required;
