RGM MAINTENANCE is an industry leader in providing maintenance and repair solutions within the transport industry across Australia since 2002. We are a preferred maintenance and service provider for many large fleet customers.
Due to continued growth in our heavy, light, and defence vehicle sectors, we are looking to expand our Katherine workshop team. We seek enthusiastic and energetic individuals to join us in servicing and maintaining various brands, supporting our ongoing commitments to the road, defence, and fuel transport industries.
The Role:
* Perform general servicing and maintenance/repairs on all makes of trucks and trailers.
* Conduct warranty repairs on Fuso, Freightliner, and Mercedes Benz trucks.
* Carry out minor and major repairs on various makes and models.
* Complete services/repairs in a timely manner.
* Receive above award wages with overtime available.
* For Trade Assistants, work alongside qualified mechanics (qualified mechanics are also required).
What we are looking for:
* Light or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, due to the range of vehicles we service.
* 3rd/4th-year apprentices with extensive experience in road transport vehicles will also be considered.
* Trade Assistants with trade experience may be considered.
* A positive, can-do attitude with willingness to learn and work hard.
* Mechanical aptitude and passion for the trade.
* Understanding of delivering high standards of workmanship and customer service.
* Good listening skills, ability to understand complex tasks, excellent time management and organizational skills.
* Current driver's license is required.

If you hold a light vehicle qualification but not a heavy trade qualification, we are still interested in hearing from you and may offer upskilling opportunities. If you have trade experience but no formal qualification, a Trade Assistant role may be available.
