We're seeking an experienced Bar Attendant with strong cocktail and barista skills who thrives in a fast-paced, social environment. You'll play a key role in delivering smooth, efficient, and engaging bar service – crafting quality drinks, maintaining exceptional presentation standards, and creating memorable experiences for every guest.
BAR ATTENDANT – Sails Restaurant
Your Role
As a Bar Attendant, you'll work hands-on across all bar operations, from preparing specialty coffees and handcrafted cocktails to managing pre-batch production, syrups, and service prep. You'll demonstrate excellent product knowledge, confident tray service, and an ability to anticipate guest needs in a busy, high-energy venue.

Create and serve cocktails with precision, including working with pre-batch and house-made syrups
Prepare and serve barista-quality coffee with consistency and care
Deliver intuitive, attentive service that enhances every guest interaction
Maintain bar presentation, stock levels, and cleanliness to high standards
Support smooth service flow between bar and floor teams
Engage confidently with guests, offering recommendations and warm, genuine hospitality
Handle transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining service focus
What we're looking for
You are a confident, energetic hospitality professional with a genuine passion for your craft. You have solid experience working in busy bar environments and thrive under pressure while maintaining composure and professionalism.
To be successful, you'll need:
Strong cocktail-making experience, including batching and syrup preparation
Barista experience with demonstrated coffee skills
Confidence carrying trays and working across both bar and floor service
A natural flair for intuitive service – reading the room, anticipating needs, and responding thoughtfully
A positive, hands-on attitude and commitment to teamwork
Nationally Recognised Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate (Essential)
