Join our Health Information Services and Clinical Coding team as a Health Information Manager
Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our health information team and provide a service in all aspects of health information management, including coding, data reporting, quality projects, privacy and medico-legal support.
You will be supported onsite by the Director of Finance & Patient Administration Manager and have access to a national network of Health Information Managers, Clinical Documentation Specialists, Clinical Coding Education and Auditing experts.
About You
You will be a Health Information Manager with highly developed communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills and the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. A passion for coding across our breadth of admissions is also a key function of the role.
Qualifications
Degree in Health Information Management or equivalent
Membership (or eligible) with the HIMAA
Clinical coding experience required – minimum 3 years tertiary
Proven ability to work in a team environment
Ability to work independently to achieve results
Self-motivated in learning and the development of others
Advanced data collection and analysis skills using Excel
Remuneration
Base hourly rates in accordance with the Enterprise Agreement, superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

Requirements
Provide or complete a National Police Check (conducted within the last 12 months)
Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases
