Asset Management and Engineering Leadership
We are seeking a seasoned Asset Management and Engineering professional to lead our asset management services. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and implementing the Capital Works Program, Asset Management Plan, and related policies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain comprehensive asset management systems and processes to ensure efficient delivery of capital works projects.
* Oversee the alignment of service level agreements with business needs and long-term asset lifecycle considerations.
* Provide technical support to depot staff and coordinate stakeholder input to ensure new assets meet operational, maintenance, and safety requirements.
* Ensure plans and budgets are balanced, resource-aligned, and risks are appropriately managed.
* Facilitate asset condition inspections, revaluations, and useful life forecasts to support financial reporting.
* Report on asset condition and financial forecasts to executive management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role.
* Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or related fields.
* Additional qualifications in business, asset, or project management.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Effective communication, interpersonal, and report writing abilities.
* Advanced analytical and negotiation skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering software.
* Demonstrated expertise in engineering construction and planning.
* Ability to produce project specifications, budget estimates, and tender documents.
