WheelsArmy is a small private company Car Dealership that hires, buys and sells vehicles. We are seeking a junior casual employee to join our team as a transport driver.
Your main role will to be assist the team in picking up and dropping off cars from customers. Other duties may include taking vehicles to car wash, picking up/dropping off stock, taking customer calls, and minor administrative work as required.
No prior experience necessary Own Vehicle not required
Requirements:
* Right to work in Australia
* Aged 17 years or older and hold a valid current class C or CA Provisional or Open Queensland or Interstate drivers licence, or hold an international licence and have the ability to convert it to a Queensland class C or CA Provisional or Open drivers licence prior to commencing employment
* Not hold a probationary, restricted, expired or suspended drivers licence.
* Not have any of the following conditions on your licence; I, M, V, X1, X3 or X4 (or interstate equivelant)
* If your licence has Condition S you MUST comply with the condition and have access to corrective lenses at all times while on the job.
* Not have had a demerit points suspension within the last 12 months, or SPER suspension within the last 3 months.
* Learner Drivers may be considered ONLY if you have held a valid Queensland learner licence for a minimum of 11 months, can demonstrate ability to obtain a provisional licence within the next 30 days, and have accumulated no more than 1 demerit point.
* Access to a mobile phone
* Consent to Drug and Alcohol screening - paid by employer. Employees must not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol at any time on the job, excluding prescription medications that do not impact the employee's ability to operate a motor vehicle and are prescribed to the employee by a doctor, nurse or pharmacist.
* Consent to a Police Check - paid by employer.
* Good interpersonal skills and tidy appearance.
* Experience using basic Microsoft Office and emailing desired but not required.

Starting Pay Rates:
Junior Aged 17 to under 19 years old and holding a Provisional (P1 or P2) drivers licence
* Monday to Friday 5:30am to 6:30pm: $22.99 per hour plus 20% super
* Saturday: $32.18 per hour plus 20% super
* Sunday: $41.38 per hour plus 20% super
* Overtime first 2 hours: $29.42 per hour
* Overtime after 2 hours: $38.62 per hour
Junior Aged 19 years old and holding a Provisional (P1 or P2) drivers licence
* Monday to Friday 5:30am to 6:30pm: $26.28 per hour plus 20% super
* Saturday: $36.79 per hour plus 20% super
* Sunday: $47.30 per hour plus 20% super
* Overtime first 2 hours: $33.63 per hour
* Overtime more than 2 hours: $44.14 per hour
Aged 20 years or older or hold an Open drivers licence
* Monday to Friday 5:30am to 6:30pm : $32.84 per hour plus 20% super
* Saturday: $45.97 per hour plus 20% super
* Sunday: $59.11 per hour plus 20% super
* Overtime first 2 hours: $42.03 per hour
* Overtime more than 2 hours: $55.17 per hour
ALL Employees
* 20% Super Guarantee on all ordinary hours including weekends (excludes overtime)
* Overtime rates and Overtime meal allowance paid when working more than 8 consecutive hours excluding breaks
* Higher duties allowance will be paid if you hold an open licence for and operate a vehicle with a manual transmission or a vehicle with weight over 4.5T gross vehicle mass
* Transport, accommodation and meals paid for if travelling overnight
* You are not required to own a motor vehicle, however if you own a motor vehicle and are requested and agree to use your own vehicle during your shift for work purposes, you will be reimbursed at $0.85 per km travelled
Please note that this is a casual role and there is no guarantee of minimum hours or continuing employment
