Overview

As a Principal Policy Officer in the Whole of Victorian Government Reform and National Policy team, you will be part of the team and Unit leadership, responsible for fostering a collaborative, inclusive and reflective culture. You will use your highly developed policy and stakeholder engagement skills to drive the development, implementation, and monitoring of policies and initiatives.

Responsibilities

* Drive the development, implementation and monitoring of the Victorian Government's delivery against Family, Domestic and Sexual Violence Federation Funding Agreements and actions under the National Plan to End Violence Against Women and Children.
* Support the Victorian Government's 10-year plan to end family violence and its Rolling Action Plans.

Accountabilities

* Provide people leadership and management as required.
* Provide high quality authoritative advice and sound policy recommendations to senior management and government based on comprehensive research.
* Oversee the development of policy and initiatives that meet government and departmental objectives within resourcing, timeline and budget parameters.

Role and Collaboration

The Principal Policy Officer will work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders across government and sector, including managing intergovernmental relations with the Commonwealth and other states and territories.
