Associate - Commercial & General Litigation

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced solicitor with 3+ years PAE to join our Commercial & General Litigation practice, based in our Newcastle office.
Working alongside senior practitioners, you will be involved in a broad range of commercial disputes and general litigation matters, with exposure to both advisory and contentious work. This role is ideal for a solicitor who enjoys autonomy, client engagement, and progressing matters efficiently from commencement through to resolution.

About you
We are seeking a capable and motivated solicitor who is ready to take ownership of files and contribute to the continued growth of our Commercial & General Litigation practice.
You will bring:
* Minimum 3 years PAE as a solicitor
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with sound advocacy abilities
* Experience working on complex and challenging matters, including dispute resolution
* The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
* Experience with LEAP practice management software (advantageous, but not essential)
Your responsibilities will include
* Acting for clients in a range of commercial and general litigation matters
* Managing your own caseload with a high degree of autonomy, while collaborating with senior practitioners as required
* Advising clients strategically and commercially throughout the life of a matter
* Contributing to the growth and profile of the practice area
