Our Venues:
The Commons Collective comprises several dining spaces, ranging from our à la carte menu in the Rose Garden, to casual drinks with friends in our Beer Garden, to celebrations or dinners in Bar Moubray and Ormond Hall.
The Commons Collective has something for everyone and is open Thursday to Saturday from 12-10pm and Sunday from 12-5pm. Wednesdays are dedicated to preparation for the upcoming trading days.

In addition to work at The Commons Collective, our retail team oversees all retail activations, including the Australian Open.
We are currently seeking experienced, enthusiastic, and passionate Experienced Retail Chefs to join our dynamic team. Anyone applying must be available for the below dates, and ideally beyond.
* Australian Open (5th Jan - 1st Feb 2026)
We pride ourselves on nurturing a great culture within our teams, the below is what we need in you to keep this culture alive.
Main Duties:
* Follow Instructions of the Head Chef and Chef supervisors, during restaurant service.
* Prepare menu items according to recipes, menu description and look books.
* Assist with setting up and packing down of the Kitchen.
* Understand dietary requirements and ensure guests are served appropriate meals.
* Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth operations and a high level of guest satisfaction.
Skills/Experience Required:
* Previous experience in the Hospitality Industry is a must, preferably restaurants, cafes, and events.
* Previous roles as a short order Chef/Cook including service and production - running a pass would be a bonus.
* Attitude to take instructions and work harmoniously within close knit teams.
* Attitude to take on any tasks required to deliver to The Big Group standard and be a team player until the kitchen is cleaned and all staff are ready to go.
