Job Opportunity:
Community and Stakeholder Engagement Specialist
This role supports engagement with project neighbours, community groups, and other key stakeholders on projects. The specialist will also help develop and implement benefit sharing plans through development, delivery, and operations.
* Represent the company to local communities and stakeholders, through written, phone, and in-person communications.
* Enhance the company's positive reputation by providing information and liaising with local communities.
* Actively manage social risk on Projects with a focus on maintaining positive relationships with communities and key stakeholders.
* Assist with corporate communications activities such as political engagements, press releases, sponsorship, and branding.
* Preparation and implementation of stakeholder and community engagement plans for projects in development and delivery
* Support and lead engagement activities
Required Skills and Qualifications-
* Experience of liaising with local communities and stakeholders
* Understanding of community engagement principles and techniques for rural communities
* Knowledge of challenges and opportunities involved in delivering energy or infrastructure projects
* Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team and liaising with different internal subject matter experts'
Qualifications-
* Tertiary qualification with a minimum of two years experience in community engagement, community relations, or stakeholder management
* Valid driving licence
