Role Summary:
This role offers a unique opportunity to work as a farm and research machinery operator, developing skills in soil, plant, and water sample collection and preparation for analysis from field trials.
As part of the Farming Systems Innovation Team, you will be responsible for monitoring crops and implementing field treatments in accordance with best management practices.
Key responsibilities include operating commonly used farm and research machinery and equipment, collecting and preparing soil, plant, and water samples, and helping maintain a central database of experimental results.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Ability to operate common farm and research machinery
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
* Diploma or equivalent qualification in Applied Science or similar field
* Current 'C' class drivers licence and heavy truck licence (desirable)
