What we need from you / What our client requires
Minimum 3+ years' experience in enterprise data modelling (conceptual, logical, physical)
Strong experience with Databricks or equivalent cloud data engineering platforms
Experience with Boomi integrations and API-based data exchange patternsExperience with metadata and governance platforms such as MortarCAPS or similar
We are seeking a Data Modeller to support a major transformation programme focused on replacing legacy systems and uplifting enterprise data capabilities.
You will design, optimise and govern core data models that enable a modernised data environment, ensuring architectural alignment, data quality, consistency and reliable downstream use across teams and platforms.
This role suits a technically strong data professional who enjoys translating business needs into robust data structures, validating integrations, and delivering high-value outcomes within a collaborative Agile environment.
Key Requirements
Support data migration planning, validation, reconciliation and post-load verification
Optimise data models for performance, scalability and query efficiency
Produce high-quality documentation and knowledge transfer artefacts for BAU teams
Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate closely with project managers, architects, technical specialists and domain experts
Maintain metadata, lineage, data dictionaries and data quality rules through governance tooling
Define and validate data flows and transformations across Databricks, Boomi and API-based integrations
