We are looking for a passionate and motivated Speech Pathologist (Contractor) to support our clients in Sydney's Inner West. This is the perfect role for someone seeking additional work alongside their current position, or for a clinician wanting flexible, choose‑your‑own‑hours arrangements.
Role Description
Responsibilities include providing assessment and intervention for children with speech, language, and literacy difficulties. We're looking for someone who'd like to begin with a small caseload of around 2–6 clients per week, with the option to gradually increase.
About the Role
As a contractor, you will:
Work with children aged years old in a clinic setting.
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, stuttering and literacy assessments.
Analyse and interpret assessment results to determine functional client centered goals.
Deliver evidence-based speech, language and literacy therapy.
Work closely with families and other healthcare professionals, including Paediatricians, Psychologists, and Occupational Therapists.
Educate families on techniques to support speech, language and literacy development at home.
Maintain up-to-date client records, including assessment results, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Stay updated with the latest research, techniques, and practices through continuous professional development

All administrative tasks (including bookings, invoicing, reminders and general client communication) are fully managed for you.
Qualifications
Relevant qualifications as a Speech Pathologist (Bachelors degree or higher).
Membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
Current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
Current Police Check.
Minimum 12-24 months experience in a similar role is required.
Completion of Sounds Write preferred but not essential.
Positive, fun and enthusiastic.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Must hold valid Australian work rights.
