* Fast-paced, hands‐on role coordinating day‐to‐day operations
Your new role:
* Coordinate transport services to ensure our client's requirements are met
* Liaise with the workshop in relation to service and maintenance requirements
* Ensure drivers complete Daily Inspection Reports before commencing work
* Manage the computerised run sheet program to ensure all services are up to date
* Monitor driver and equipment cleanliness and presentation
* Ensure drivers have been deemed competent and correctly licensed for the operation of relevant equipment
Your skills and experience:
* Knowledge of fatigue management and transport regulations for the operation of heavy vehicles
* Excellent customer service and organisation skills
* Transportation background: extensive experience in the transportation industry, with a deep understanding of daily logistics route scheduling
* Proven ability in scheduling of fleet servicing requirements to maintain operational standards of equipment
* Risk management: proven ability to identify and mitigate potential transportation risks
* Knowledge and understanding of NHVAS processes and maintaining compliance with those standards (including record keeping and maintaining real‐time data sets)
* Safety management: proven track record in maintaining a strong safety culture and minimising accidents or incidents, meeting all reporting and escalation requirements
* Proficiency in collaborating across different departments and functions within an organisation, building effective teams and improving work outcomes
