THE OPPORTUNITY An experienced Product Specialist is sought by our Biosurgery team (formally Ethicon) covering the stunning Gold Coast and Northern NSW. The role offers substantial opportunities across various surgical specialties including General, Bariatrics, Urology, Gynecology, Cardiothoracic, Neurosurgery, and Orthopaedics. You will partner with surgeons, nurses, and procurement staff throughout the hospital, from the operating theatre to the C-suite, developing long-term relationships to drive sales growth, meet targets, and enhance patient care.

Responsibilities Develop and maintain key clinical relationships to foster product adoption. Sell designated clinical products (e.g., NPI) within a specific geographical territory using surgeon or account-based business plans. Provide monthly sales data to identify opportunities and risks, and update the Business Manager. Conduct sales activities to develop customer confidence and meet their needs. Develop education and training programs for all accounts with the support of Ethicon Biosurgery Manager and Professional Education solutions team. Build a strong collaborative Ethicon team across designated accounts supporting strategic initiatives. Build and maintain constructive relationships with all JJM staff. Educate clinicians and staff to utilize new medical technologies and develop KOL support. Participate in training programs and develop self-learning strategies to maintain knowledge. About You Proven sales success within a hospital environment, ideally in medical devices. Experience working under pressure in the operating theatre. Tertiary education in Medical Science, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields. High emotional intelligence and understanding of Change Management. Passion for technology and troubleshooting skills. Commitment to delivering excellent patient outcomes. Team-oriented with a willingness to support colleagues.
