About the role and you
This role is all about creativity and fun. Thinking outside the box, rapid turnaround and engaging an incredibly diverse audience. We are on the hunt for a Junior Digital and Social Racing Producer who will report to the Director of Editorial Content and work very closely with the RSN and SENTrack teams, as well as the SEN content team and national sales team.
You will play an integral role in creating and distributing exceptional digital and social content across our platforms to ensure continued engagement and growth. Your day-to-day will involve creating and publishing written editorial, editing video, collating tips and talent opinion content, running social channels and managing client/partner integrations.
The role requires you create great relationships with talent, feed off their energy and get creative with content ideas and distribution. No two days will be the same and we want someone ready to take on the fast-paced nature of the industry and help grow our audience and community and find news ones!
The ideal candidate we are looking for will:
* Be energetic, ready to get into the thick of it and have some fun in a fast-thinking role
* Be passionate about creating short, snappy engaging and unique written, audio and video content
* Have a solid understanding of what content works across different social platforms
* Understand the value in social media platforms and how to engage with new audiences
* Interest and knowledge in the racing and tipping world is a must as well as other sports. We need variety
* Have experience using video editing and graphics software such as Premier Pro
* and Canva – this is essential
* Experience in writing and use of CMS is also required
* Be willing to work weekends and nights
* Be highly energetic and have a passion for sport, the industry, and our content
* Have excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
* Have a strong work ethic and collaborative work approach
* Have good time management skills, be highly organised and results driven
