Kerman Contracting is seeking a Civil Project Engineer to join our head office team. This role will see you coordinating all technical activities on assigned projects and participate in planning, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating Non-Process Infrastructure projects.

Your Roles, Duties and Responsibilities:
* Assist with preparing designs, drawings, plans, specifications, schedules and reports for projects, engineered systems, technical equipment or components.
* Work with other disciplines to provide compliance with the contract requirements.
* Review drawings to ensure compliance with clients specifications and proactively address design issues.
* Collaborate with clients, suppliers, consultants and contractors to resolve technical queries.
* Work closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure activities are streamlined and kept to schedule.
* Assist with estimating, scoping and preparing variation quotations.
* Prepare project-specific Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
* Perform other organisational duties that may be necessary to suit operational requirements.
* Take responsibility for your safety, uphold the Company WHSE policies and participate in Company WHSE initiatives.
About you:
* Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
* 3+ years' experience in the construction industry
* 2+ years' experience on Non-Process Infrastructure project(s)
* Experience with construction methods for roadways, drainage, concrete structures and steel-framed buildings, familiar with AS3600 and AS4100
* Competent in the use of Microsoft applications
* AutoCAD or familiarity with various drawing software would be an advantage
* Experience working on multiple discipline projects
* Registered engineer or technician is preferred
