We are looking for a Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team at Crowne Plaza Canberra. This hands on role will focus on looking after our events and conferences, but will also support operations?across our Restaurant, Lume Bar and Room Service. With emphasis on delivering a memorable guest experience,?and supporting the team, you'll lead the?shift, promoting a positive and efficient culture, training our team on their capabilities in food and beverage and customer service. Every day will be different, but mainly you'll be: - Main operational contact on the day for our conferencing guests, looking after the catering, room set up and any other ad-hoc requests - Setting up meeting and conferencing rooms - Liaising with the meeting planning team, attending BEO meetings and briefing the F&B team on upcoming events - Provide training, coaching and regular feedback to help?improve team performance What We need from you:? - Team leader or supervisory experience in an event operations or food & beverage supervisory role, preferably within a hotel - Drive and enthusiasm, a proven ability to motivate and lead teams - Understanding of rostering, staff planning and the Hospitality award. - Attention to detail - Flexibility - working, weekends and public holidays are all part of the job - You must have working rights?in Australia What You Can Expect from Us We provide everything you need to succeed.
