Saddles, Mount White, has an exciting opportunity for an Event Sales Manager for immediate start.
Set across 20 acres of stunning countryside and bushland, the Saddles precinct consists of its much-loved restaurant, our event venue, The Barn, and the fun outdoor & takeaway Spitfire Caravan.
The Role:
This role will suit a leader who embraces the opportunity of shaping the business from within, and with a strong focus on guest experience and team culture alike:
* Drive event sales activity and contribute to strategies to achieve functions and events sales.
* Undertake site inspections with prospective clients, ensuring that these inspections are coordinated with the venues.
* Identify new business opportunities and generate functions and events sales growth.
* Prepare proposals and quotations for prospective function clients.
* Develop and nurture client relationships and provide high levels of service to ensure client requirements are met.
* Ensure all client and event information is accurately recorded and maintained in the company's event management system.
* Develop and execute the sales strategy to achieve events sales targets.
* Attend industry networking events and instigate venue familiarisation opportunities where possible.
* Work with our team and each client to develop detailed plans to ensure each event and functions is executed to the highest possible standard.
* Provide operational oversight of functions and events as required.
What We're Looking For:
This role will be best suited to someone with previous experience in event and conferencing sales and that can confidently work independently as well as within a team.
* Previous experience in a similar position
* Financially astute with ample event sales experience
* High Resilience and High Confidence
* Comfortable in initiating conversations and well versed in communicating on multiple levels and platforms
* Experience using Ivvy and other event specific applications
