Monday-Friday. This is a great opportunity for experienced Pipe Fitters to join our team This is your chance to contribute to a major industrial upgrade and work alongside a skilled, high-performing team.
The Role
Reporting to the Leading Hand/Supervisor your key responsibilities are:
1. Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading
2. Examine and test installed systems and pipelines using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing, observation and or other methods
3. Repair any damage to pipes by regular inspection and detect any malfunctions
4. Maintain accurate records of service cycles in a timely manner
5. Assemble new pipes and plan layout of the same pipes
6. Install pipe to structure
7. Conduct pre-start checks on plant and equipment, hand tools, tooling and equipment prior carrying out the task
8. Maintain and keep tools and equipment in a safe area. Lock them away or return to store when not required
About You
To be successful in the role you will possess the following:
9. 10. Australian recognised Trade Certificate
11. Current Working Safely at Heights Certificate
12. Current High risk elevating work platform license and VOC
13. Current Drivers Licence
14. Nationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card (White Card)
15. Previous construction experience (minimum 2 years' experience) with Carbon, Stainless Steel and threaded pipe
16. Know how to read ISO drawings and PI&D
17. Ability to complete and pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.
