Job Title: Safety and Quality Specialist
About the Role
This is a key position within our organisation, responsible for ensuring the provision of high-quality service standards and practices to consumers of regional mental health services.
You will provide expert advice and support to senior executives on clinical areas of risk and corporate safety and quality initiatives across regional services.
The successful candidate will lead the development of a culture of safety, quality, and risk management aligned with National Standards and SA Health Frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement strategies to improve patient safety and quality of care.
* Provide expert advice and support to senior executives on clinical areas of risk and corporate safety and quality initiatives.
* Lead the development of a culture of safety, quality, and risk management aligned with National Standards and SA Health Frameworks.
* Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to deliver critical systems that support evaluation and ongoing improvement of consumer safety and quality of care.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
* A recognised qualification in Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Psychology.
* Eligibility for full membership of the relevant professional association.
* A Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing (or equivalent) for appointment at RN4 level.
