Job Description
On behalf of Charter Australia's partnered aged care service providers, Charter Australia is recruiting Trainee Assistant in Nursing (AIN).
A traineeship is a great way to achieve nationally recognised qualifications all whilst getting paid from day one. The successful candidates will undergo a combination of on-the-job training with an employer of your choice to achieve your Certificate III in Individual Support qualification.
You will be assigned both a dedicated work supervisor and a Charter Australia's qualified trainer for your entire traineeship to assist you every step of the way and lead you to success.
As an AIN, you will make a positive impact on the lives of the older people with your compassionate and supportive approach;
* Providing support and personal care to clients.
* Responsibilities include monitoring health, meal preparation, assisting with self-care techniques, medication reminders, transportation, and other daily life assistance.
* Engage clients in community activities.
* Maintaining accurate records and ensuring a safe environment for clients.
Work Locations: Multiple locations across Sydney metropolitan. You can choose preferred work locations via the application page.
Requirements
a foreign national with permanent residency; or
a New Zealand Passport holder with at least six months' residence in Australia at the date of commencement or recommencement of the Australian Apprenticeship
Fully vaccinated against Covid-19
Possess a compassionate, caring and supportive nature
Earn while you learn at your own pace to complete a Certificate III in Individual Support qualification with Charter Australia
