About the Role
As a
Graduate Structural Engineer
at Ricaya, you will:
* Assist in the design and analysis of structural systems across residential and commercial projects.
* Support the preparation of drawings, models, and technical reports.
* Collaborate with architects, builders, and consultants to deliver practical, buildable solutions.
* Attend site visits and meetings to gain real-world project experience.
* Learn from senior engineers and contribute to a supportive, collaborative team environment.
* Develop your knowledge of Australian Standards, codes, and best practices.
What We're Looking For
* Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (or nearing completion).
* Strong interest in building structures, with a desire to learn about both residential and commercial projects.
* Familiarity with structural design principles in concrete, steel, and timber.
* Basic knowledge of industry software (RAM Concept, ETABS, SpaceGass, or similar) is an advantage, but not essential.
* Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and a willingness to learn.
* Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
* A genuine interest in developing your career within a forward-thinking consultancy.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with design calculations and modelling.
* Contribute to documentation and drafting support.
* Participate in project coordination and team discussions.
* Gain experience in client and consultant interaction.
* Support site inspections under supervision of senior staff.
