Based in ourSouthport office, this is a hands-on and rewarding role whereyou'llsupport youngpeople aged 15–24 to overcome barriers, build their skills, and create sustainable pathways into education, training, or employment.
As aYouth Coach (TtW),youwill:
* Buildrapport withyoungpeople referred throughCentrelink, community networks,and other channels.
* Assess participant's eligibilityfor the program.
* Manage a caseloadthroughone-on-one coaching, group activities, onlineengagementand referral to specialist providers.
* Develop andmaintainEducation and Employment Planstailored to each participant's goals,strengthsand barriers.
* Collaboratewith employers, training providers, and community organisations to connect youth with meaningful opportunities.
* Engage local employers toidentifyand promote sustainable job and training placements.
* Maintainaccuraterecords and meet contractual requirements in line withTransition to Work (TtW)andDESEguidelines.

* Experience incase management, employment services, youth work,mentoring,community engagement, or related field
* Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to engagewith people from diverse backgrounds and communities
* Demonstratedproblem-solving skills
* Strongwritten and verbal communication skills, with a professional and empathetic approach
* Understandingoflocal labour marketsand the barriers young people face when seeking employment
* Highdigital literacy, strong attention to detail, and accuracy in record keeping
