About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Finance team at Baxter International Inc.
As a key member of our team, you will have the chance to partner closely with business leaders by providing financial expertise and solutions to achieve commercial business objectives.
You will work with the Associate Director to develop and evaluate business strategies for assigned divisions in ANZ. You will also be part of projects focused on continuous improvement and digital transformation in a dynamic commercial environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data, market trends, and competitor performance to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
* Strategic Planning: Collaborate with key individuals to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives that drive business results.
* Financial Modeling: Design and implement efficient and effective financial models, forecasts, and reporting tools to support decision-making processes.
* Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams in execution of complex projects, ensuring detailed execution and timely delivery.
* Insight Generation: Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on thorough analysis and interpretation of financial data.

Requirements
* Tertiary Qualification: Tertiary degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
* Industry Experience: 5 years + experience within the pharmaceutical or medical device industries.
* Technical Skills: Proven experience in data warehousing, reporting, analytics tools, and visualization technologies such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Cognos, and JDE.
* Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, able to resolve root causes and develop innovative solutions.
* Communication Skills: Solid understanding of financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting techniques. Strong communication and presentation skills are required, with the ability to effectively explain complex financial concepts.
